Ardmore welcomes senior officers to Ireland

Ardmore welcomed many of its senior officers to Ireland last month for its Senior Officers Conference.

Drawn from the senior ranks of those serving across Ardmore’s fleet, including vessels managed by Thome and Univan Anglo-Eastern, the conference brought together serving officers and Ardmore’s shore-based team for three days of learning, team-building and socialising. Participants were also rewarded with some of the best weather of the year for their time near the beautiful coast of Kinsale, County Cork, as well as visiting Ardmore’s new office in Cork city centre.

Gerry Docherty, Ardmore’s Director of Technical Services, commented,

“We firmly believe in the principle of ship and shore working together as one team. This conference was a great opportunity for senior officers from across our fleet to spend time together, socialise, learn from each other and get to know their shore-based colleagues. It was a great to see such pride in being part of the Ardmore team and their commitment to our values, and we hope that they’ll be taking away some happy memories of Cork.”
